One denomination of churches in Mozambique was challenged through the TCT training to see how they could be an example to their communities. They realized that most people do not have toilets, and that even their church buildings didn’t have toilets. The denomination found three churches who were willing to build a toilet in the church compound. By doing this they hoped to serve as an example to the other churches in the denomination as well as to families in their neighborhoods. One senior church leader was so glad at what had happened that he urged the church to continue with the TCT training and the church is now more concerned about the needs of their community.
