After starting the program the church discussed what to do to help. They had recently been in a neighboring country buying buffalo and had noticed that the people there were even poorer than they were. It was very cold and the children were naked and filthy. So they all donated one or two sets of clothes to give to this village. After collecting the clothes and buying candy they carried everything for two days through the jungle to present it to them. The people in the village were amazed and commented that they had wanted to become Christians but didn’t have a pastor. The group reported back to the church and they worked together to make a plan to send and support a missionary to this village. They have now started a church and it is quickly growing in this new area.
