One trainer, Saya Mathew, testified about the changes he had seen in his area over the past five years, “From the very beginning we’ve seen a lot of change. We’ve seen change everywhere.” Some of the communities drew schools on their vision maps, and prayed for a school. The government had told them that they did not plan to give schools to those communities, but the churches kept praying, and the government ended up building the schools exactly where they had drawn them on the maps! One of those villages was actually a new village–all of the residents had come from other places. The Christians there had four different denominations and a lot of disunity. When TCT first started there, the trainer only trained one of the churches, but gradually the others joined in. Now all the churches live and work together in unity. The churches in these communities did many Acts of Love over the years: building roads, cleaning wells, making toilets, building bridges. Saya Matthew proclaimed, “Before, even though they were very rich in resources (trees etc) they didn’t do anything, but now their houses are very nice. Technology has also developed – before they just used cows to farm their fields, but now starting to use tractors. Health has also improved. They have a clinic now and there’s no need to go to town. They have electricity.” Praise God for bringing so much change to the communities and for strengthening His churches!
