Partnered Programmes

If you would like to implement TCT as a partnered programme, here are the steps to follow:

1. The first step for partnered programmes is to send us a brief application letting us know about you.

The form you need to fill in is at the bottom of the page. Please be sure you’ve read through the Practitioner’s Guide, Programme Directors Guide and/or watched the Orientation videos before filling in the application, so that you understand what you’re committing to.

2. Meet with a Regional Coordinator (RC).

After receiving your application, the RC for your area will be in touch to meet with you. They will take some time to learn about your work, share more about TCT, and answer any questions that you have. Your RC will work with you throughout the following steps to launch the programme.

3. Attend an Orientation.

Ideally we would love to have you attend a full 3-day Orientation. The online Orientation serves as an introduction, but the in-person Orientation goes much deeper. We try to schedule 1-2 Forums (Orientations for all interested groups) in each region each year. Alternatively, it is possible to do an Orientation for your group if you are a larger network with a number of key decision makers. The purpose of Orientation is to explain the foundations of the program and give the information you and your leaders will need to make key decisions. If there are a number of leaders that need to be involved in making the decisions, you may host an Orientation.

4. Pray through key decisions.

Typically, we start with a prayer retreat where we meet together with 2-7 of your key leaders to make decisions on how to structure the programme. The prayer retreat is 2 days long. Some of the decisions that we pray through include – who will be your Programme Director and Master Trainers? What regions will you work in? What languages do the materials need to be in? What curriculum (written or audio) should you use? How should the programme be structured? You can find more about these roles in the Programme Directors Guide.

5. Hold Module 1 training for Master Trainers.

We will come and lead the training of Master Trainers. You will need to organise the facilities, meals, and attendees. The training takes four days—three days are the contents of Module 1 and the last day is equipping the Master Trainers for their role. You are expected to cover most of the costs of this training. We can help you think through creative ideas for covering the costs.

6. Every six months we will be back to teach the next module.

In between trainings the Programme Director should be in touch with the Master Trainers to make sure things are going well.
